Seeing Systems started at the University of Cambridge over 10 years ago.
We noticed that the United Kingdom was lagging behind in autonomous drone hardware, and that's a problem we knew we could fix.
We've grown from a one-man team building drones in a shed to a thriving startup.
We now provide hardware and hands-on training to over five NGOs and government defence agencies from multiple European countries.
Each member of our team is deeply rooted in their field, and fuelled by a passion for the technology we create.
We have personal connections to both academia and the organisations that use our products, allowing us to innovate where it counts.
We firmly believe that the secret to our success is close collaboration with our customers.
That's why we don't just sell our products; many of our clients use our expertise on a consultancy basis, cultivating long-term relationships.
We are focused on bringing the United Kingdom forward in its innovation and aim to make the UK a real player on the Al world stage.
With roots in the "silicon fen" of Cambridgeshire, we're well placed to improve lives, starting here in the UK.
We work closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure exceptional results and exceed expectations.
We believe in face-to-face discussion and hands-on demonstration, so we will come to you to make sure we deliver what you need.
Our systems stand out due to their integration of cutting-edge Al, robust computer vision, and resilience. We've packaged this all into our best-in-class HERMES hardware system. With HERMES, every system is not only intelligent but also capable of surviving and adapting to high-risk, high-stakes environments.
Absolutely. We design with modularity in mind, allowing us to tailor sensor payloads, Al models, and hardware configurations to specific operational requirements— whether that's industrial inspection, search-and-rescue, defence, or custom R&D.
Yes. We provide hands-on training, detailed documentation, and simulation environments to ensure teams can deploy, operate, and maintain systems confidently and effectively.
Yes. While many of our clients work in defense, our autonomous systems are also designed for critical civil missions such as border monitoring, disaster response, search and rescue (SAR), and infrastructure security.
These applications demand the same level of autonomy, durability, and real-time intelligence that our systems are built to deliver. We're always looking to expand into new areas, so if you think we might be able to serve your area, don't hesitate to send us a message.
Our UAVs are designed for full autonomy, from navigation to perception and mission execution. However, we incorporate configurable human-in-the-loop options depending on operational context and regulatory requirements, offering flexibility for both supervised, partial, and unsupervised deployments.
We work globally, though engagements involving defence or sensitive technologies are subject to export controls and UK regulations. We focus primarily on collaboration within the UK, but we welcome international collaboration where compliant.
Our systems are highly modular - they can collect video, telemetry, mapping data, object detections, and mission-specific insights. Data ownership is with the client by default, and we follow strict protocols to ensure secure handling, encryption, and compliance with privacy & defence standards. We do not, and can not, see your data.
Absolutely. We offer live demonstrations, technical briefings, and discovery calls tailored to your organization, mission or industrial needs. Just reach out through our contact form or email, and we'll work with you to set up a session that is tailored to your goals.
